• This trip marks the furthest west the Hawks have played since 2016 when UMES traveled to Pullman, Wa. for the Washington State Tournament

• This tournament marks UMES first meeting against Montana State and Gonzaga

• Montana State hosted a tournament last weekend, beating Prairie View A&M and losing to South Dakota and Oregon

• Gonzaga fell to Grand Canyon and defeated UTRGV and LIU Brooklyn at the Grand Canyon Tournament

• UMES faces CSU Bakersfield for the fourth time in school history. The Hawks are 2-1 against the Roadrunners

• CSU Bakersfield went winless at the UNLV Tournament, dropping matches to Utah Tech, UNLV, and Iowa
