PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland - Chaelan Stier has joined the athletic training staff at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and will work along side head athletic trainer Megan Barnes and associate athletic trainer Sierra Miller.
 

Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Stier earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Sports Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, where she also completed a two-year Kinesiology Fellowship with the Penn State Football athletic training staff.
 

During her time in college, Stier began serving with the Ocean City Beach Patrol in Ocean City, Maryland. She continues to work seasonally as a part-time lifeguard and is excited to return to the Eastern Shore as part of the UMES athletics community.
