Biography

Jorge Pichardo is in his first season as student assistant coach with the University of Maryland zEastern Shore baseball team.

Pichardo, a native of La Vega Dominican Republic, was a two-year letterwinner for the Hawks from 2008-09. He was a career .255 hitter with 14 doubles and 42 RBIs.

Pichardo is working towards a degree in computer science and expects to graduate in May 2010.
