2025 (Junior): Played in 45 of UMES’ 48 games, starting in all 45 he played in…Finished third on the team with a .304 batting average…scored 29 runs (second most on the team), posted a team-high 52 hits, a team-high 14 doubles, and two home runs…Aponte recorded 29 RBI (second most on the team), drew 20 walks, and finished the year with a .802 OPS…Defensively, Aponte registered a team-high .994 field percentage (Minimum 30 games started) with just two errors all season…Aponte was named NEC player of the week for finishing 7-for-11 with three games and six RBI across three games against Towson on Feb. 22 and 23…Named an NEC Prime Performer twice…Recorded a season-high 4 RBI in wins over Towson on Feb. 22 and Delaware State on March 8…Ended the season on a seven game hit streak and recorded a 12-game hit streak from Feb. 16 to March 9…Recorded 19 multi-hit games…Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll for finishing above a 3.0 GPA
