2015: Emerged as the team's premier home run hitter in 2015 ... smacked five dingers while leading the team in RBIs with 29 ... also led the team in walks with 26 and was second with an on-base percentage of .371 ... played in center field and did not record an error all season in 103 chances ... hit his first home run against Navy on February 22nd, tallying three RBIs in the game ... went four straight games with a RBI including all three games in a Coppin series where the Hawks swept the Eagles ... nailed home runs on consecutive days versus Delaware State in May ... named an All-MEAC Preseason Selection, placing him on the second team
2014: Spent most of the year as the Hawks' cleanup hitter and left fielder during his first year at UMES...batted .244 with two homeruns and 26 RBIs, both of which were second-best on the team...tied with a team-high two triples on the year...finished fourth on the team in steals with four...was the lone Hawk who did not commit an error with zero mistakes in 103 chances along with three assists...made his UMES debut on February 19th, going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored against George Washington...hit his first Division I homerun versus Norfolk State on March 22nd, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs...against Navy on April 8th, Turlik went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, one of two times he registered three hits on the year
