2025 (Freshman): Played in 30 games with 23 starts at catcher and in the outfield … Bat .221, registering 17 hits, 16 runs, nine RBI, and 16 walks… Tabbed one NEC Prime Performer selection for going 7-for-10 at the plate with 3 RBI in series win at Norfolk State on May 15-17…Recorded first collegiate hit against Towson on Feb. 23…Had his first multi-hit game against Bethune-Cookman, going 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored on March 1…Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll for finishing above a 3.0 GPA...Played Summer ball for the Abeline Flying Bison

Prior to UMES:

2024: Trained at the TCS Post Grad Academy which is a one year post-grad program for ballplayers to develop and prepare for college baseball. The Melissa, Texas based program allows players to acclimate to a full collegiate schedule without having to sacrifice a year of eligibility…At the time of his graduation, Caldwell is among the 276 TCS alumni to play collegiate baseball and one of 28 in the past eight years to go to a Division I program…
