Favorite baseball memory was “Hitting a no doubt under the lights moonshot to tie the game vs the 2nd ranked juco in the country”...”All of the friends and and great memories I have made along the way that’s what it’s all about” is his favorite thing about being a baseball player...Favorite UMES Baseball memories are a tie between going 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and an outfield assists vs Norfolk State in 2024 on the day after he graduated and hitting two home runs against Stonehill for his first and second NCAA Division I home runs…Cited growing up playing baseball in Chicago as a big reason for his appreciation to play at an HBCU: “It is a great honor especially being from Chicago and having grown up playing against RBI programs and White Sox ace (amateur city elite) who give kids in Chicago a chance to play the game for free which is a great thing I have always admired. It is a big part of why the Chicago baseball talent is 2nd to none and continues to be a hot spot for great talent every year.”
