CJ Council enters his 1st season as an Assistant Coach at Eastern Shore. He will oversee all daily program operations. He will also be heavily involved in on-court coaching, game prep and assisting with game management.
Council came to Eastern Shore after spending the last two seasons at Brooklyn College. He helped Brooklyn College to a CUNYAC Championship in 2020 and they competed in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Prior to that, Council made stops at Christ The King High School, Manhattan College and St. John’s.
Council is a 2004 graduate of St. John’s University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He got his master’s from St. John’s in 2008 in education administration.
