Kevon Davis

Davis is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Hawks.

Davis comes to Maryland Eastern Shore after spending the 2019-20 season at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. Indian Hills went 30-3 in the 2019-20 season and were Region XI and District XI Champions and earned a number two seed in the NJCAA Tournament. The tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to Indian Hills, he spent three seasons at California Polytechnic State University from 2016-19. While at Cal Poly, Davis was the Director of Player Development for his first two seasons before being elevated to an assistant coaching position prior to the 2018-19 season.

Before Cal Poly, he accepted an assistant coaching position at Casper College in Wyoming. Casper went 47-18 during his two seasons there from 2014-16. His first coaching position was at Harcum College in 2010. The team went 100-29 during his four-year tenure and reached the semifinals of the NJCAA national tournament in 2014.

The Upper Darby, Pennsylvania native is a 2008 graduate of Harcum College with an associate’s degree in sports management and he received his bachelor’s degree in professional studies in 2010 from West Chester University. His playing career includes two years at Harcum (2006-08) and two years at West Chester (2008-10).
