2019-20 (Junior): Played in seven tournaments (16 rounds) … averaged 104.44 (+32) shots per round … posted 85 as his season low round during second round of the SSU Tiger Fall Invitational on October 29, 2019… earned MEAC All-Academic Honors and Coach's Award for the season.

2018-19 Golf (Sophomore): Named to MEAC All-Academic Team for the season ... Made MEAC Commissioners' All-Academic Team ... Played in seven tournaments (17 rounds) ... averaged an 120 (+48) on the season ... Had his career high 98 (+26) in round one of the MEAC Tournament on April 29, 2019

High School/Club: Earned his Varsity Letter his senior year,  Member of Principle Action Committee and College Summit Program ... Named Most Improved Player on the golf team. Academically, he made honor roll all four years.

Personal: Born November 6, 1997 … Son of Myron Barton and Porchelle Brooks … Has one sister named Ryan Blount … Major is Criminal Justice … On campus his involved in Criminal Justice Honor Society and the Cyber Warrior Initiative group ... Pre-game routine/superstition is listening to music, hitting a few golf balls and various shots, then working on his short game before the start of his round … Plans to work as a data analyst with the FBI or NSA.
