Sharlene Milwood-Lee

Sharlene Milwood-Lee served as the head coach of the cross country and track & field program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from December of 2022 through the 2026 season.
 
Milwood-Lee's coaching experience including serving as head coach at her alma mater Farleigh Dickinson University, where she led the program for 18 seasons.
 
At the head of Farleigh Dickinson, Milwood-Lee was the 2020 Northeast Conference Indoor Women’s Track & Field Coach of the Year, when the team won the conference championship, while consistently placing student-athletes on All-Conference lists.
 
Prior to taking over the Knights squads in 2003, Milwood-Lee was also an assistant and interim head coach at FDU, as well as heading the Bergen Community College programs and acting as an assistant at Montclair State starting in 1997.
 
As a student-athlete from 1990 to 1994, Milwood-Lee was one of the most decorated runners in Farleigh Dickinson history, being elected to the Knights’ Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Northeast Conference’s Hall of Fame in 2010. Milwood-Lee won 11 NEC titles, racing in the 300m, 400m and 800m as an individual, and the 4x400m and 4x200m during relays. Her 4x400m squad also captured gold at the 1993 U.S. Olympic Festival.
