Goburn

Keilando Goburn

Keilando Goburn served as the assistant coach for the Hawks during the 2024-2025 season.

Goburn comes to UMES with over 20 years of coaching experience. His expertise is in the sprints and the hurdles. He has also represented Jamaica as a national track and field coach on the international circuit on multiple occasions. 

Goburn is a trained teacher of Physical Education and Sport and has earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a Masters degree in Sports Science from the University of Western Carolina.  In addition, Goburn is certified as a World Athletics Level Four coach in sprints and hurdles. He plans to pursue a PHD in Sports Science and Kinesiology in the near future. 

Goburn is originally from Spanish Town, St Catherine, Jamaica and is happily married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading , listening to music, watching soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
