Braelen Twine joined the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in August 2025 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
In Twine’s role at UMES, he leads strength and conditioning programs for bowling, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s volleyball, shares program responsibility for cross country as well as track and field, and he assists with all other athletics programs. He is responsible for designing and implementing evidence-based strength and conditioning programs that enhance athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and prepare student-athletes for the demands of collegiate competition.
Twine earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science: Human Performance from Manchester University in May 2025. While at Manchester he also completed minors in Nutrition and Coaching.
Throughout his undergraduate education, he gained practical coaching experience through multiple strength and conditioning internships. He completed two internships at Manchester University, working with the women's soccer program during both the fall and spring seasons. He also expanded his experience at Indiana State University where he assisted with the football and basketball performance programs in the summer.
Following graduation in May 2025, Twine relocated to Maryland to continue developing as a collegiate strength and conditioning professional at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He holds certifications in CPR/AED, NSCA and CSCS, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
