BALTIMORE, MD Blair Snyder and Becky Corb combined for 24 kills and 13 digs to help Loyola College to a three-game sweep over the UMES Lady Hawks in a non-conference volleyball match at Reitz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Greyhounds, who snapped a two-match overall losing skid with the victory, took the match with scores of 30-24, 30-15 and 30-16. Meanwhile, the Lady Hawks (5-23) dropped their straight and seventh match in the last eight outings.

Freshman setter Yael Rozner (Haifa, Israel) led UMES with a double-double of 12 assists and a match-high 13 digs while senior Eriel Jeffery (Highland, Calif.) had a team-high six kills.

Snyder led Loyola( 7-17) with a match-high 13 kills while adding five digs. She also hit .360 in the match with just four errors in 25 attempts.

The Lady Hawks will travel to Delaware State on Oct. 28 for a 7 p.m. non-conference match against the Hornets.
