HAMDEN, CONN. - The UMES volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to Quinnipiac on Thursday night, falling to the Bobcats 3-1 (24-30, 30-26, 30-27, 30-27) in a road contest. The loss drops the maroon and grey to 1-10 on the season.

The Lady Hawks stay in Connecticut for their next three matches as they participate in the Sacred Heart Invitational on Sept. 23-24.
