PRINCESS ANNE, MD - University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) freshman Caylin Woodward (Garden Grove, Calif./Pacifica H.S.) was named as the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, the conference announced on Monday.

Woodward averaged 11.5 kills and 8.5 digs in two matches last week, helping the Lady Hawks to a 1-1 mark. In a conference decision against Hampton, the right side hitter recorded her ninth double-double of the year with 12 kills and 11 digs. She followed that performance with 11 kills, six digs, and .400 attack percentage in a non-conference contest against George Washington.

UMES next faces Wagner in an 8:00 pm road decision on Friday, Nov. 3.
