Highlights of Weight Throw
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's and women's indoor track and field season begins Friday morning with the Coach O Invitational at the W.P. Hytche Athletic Center.
Returning for the Hawks is 2009 NCAA Indoor Championship provisional qualifier Allodin Fothergill (New Hempsted, N.Y.). Fothergill, a senior, was third in the 400-meter dash in 46.75 at the Alex Wilson Invitational in Notre Dame, Ind. Additionally, he competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2009 Jamaican Track and Field Senior National Championships.
Teams participating in the event include UMES, Salisbury University, Virginia State University and Wesley College. The following is an approximate schedule of events for the collegiate invite. Please note that times are subject to change.
