PRINCESS ANNE, Md.--Last December, University of Maryland Eastern Shore profiled junior track & field star Dillon Simon in a Walk with a Hawk article. A native of Pottersville, Dominica, specializes in throwing the shot put during the indoor and outdoor seasons. When he is not excelling on the athletic field, Dillon is a business administration major who hopes to work for a Fortune 500 company one day.
Over the past few weeks, UMES student and former track athlete Melina Gallas produced a video feature on Dillon Simon for Discover UMES. The five minute video contains an interview plus scenes from Simon's daily life. The video link is below:
