Dec. 15, 2015 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Before their 2016 campaign, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Softball Team will hold a winter camp for middle school students on Saturday, Jan. 16 inside the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. Registration/check-in starts at 9 a.m. and cost is $70 per camper.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Coaches Sam Douglas and Brenae Rogers along with the team will instruct campers on batting and fielding techniques. Also, campers will have an opportunity to showcase their skills in an indoor scrimmage.
Campers are advised to bring their own bat, glove, helmet, and sneakers. Gatorade and water will be provided; however, lunch is not included. Campers must bring their own lunch.

On Feb. 12-14, UMES opens the season in Greensboro, N.C. where they will compete in the North Carolina A&T Aggie Invitational.
