Dec. 22, 2015 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — When the Hawks track team will resume its schedule in 2016, they will start in a different city at another meet. The squad announced today it will head to Staten Island, N.Y. and the Ocean Breeze complex on January 8th to compete in the Villanova Open.
The meet replaces the Navy Invitational, scheduled for the same day. Time is still listed as TBA for the Villanova Open.
The meet on the 8th will be the first of three straight meets at the Staten Island facility, followed by the Great Dane Classic and the Gotham Cup.
UMES will still get the opportunity to perform in Annapolis at the Wesley Brown Invitational on January 30th.
