The University of Maryland Eastern Shore picked up a pair of victories - both against Sacred Heart - in bracket play at the KU Invitation at Heister Lanes in Reading, Pennsylvania and finished the event in 11th place.
The Hawks (44-22, 12-4 MEAC) began bracket play with a 4-2 win against Sacred Heart and then suffered a 4-1 setback against Adelphi. They finished the day with another 4-2 win against Sacred Heart.
Eastern Shore will return to action Feb. 2-4 at the Prairie View Invitational, held at the International Training and Research Center in Arlington, Texas.
