NORMAN, Oklahoma — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will play their sixth straight road game to open their season on Thursday night (Nov. 21) against the University of Oklahoma Sooners.

Eastern Shore (0-5) is coming off a game with Stanford that they dropped 76-55. Junior Canaan Bartley (Miami, Fla.) led the Hawks in scoring in the game with 10 points.

The Hawks are facing off with Oklahoma for the fourth time in history. Each meeting has been in the last 10 years with the last one coming in Jan. 2011. OU has won all three previous meetings.

After facing the Sooners, the Hawks will return home to face Wofford on Nov. 26 in their first home contest of the season.
