NORFOLK, Virginia — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will conclude their weeklong road trip on Sunday afternoon (Dec. 22) with a game at Old Dominion University.
The Hawks (1-12) fell to the Charlotte 49ers 66-44 on Thursday (Dec. 19). Eastern Shore had a tough time getting the ball in the basket as they shot 28% from the field. Redshirt junior Marlon Adams (Brooklyn, New York) led the team in scoring with eight points in the game.
Sunday's opponent, Old Dominion (3-9), has not won a game since Nov. 16 when they defeated Northeastern. That win gave their head coach Jeff Jones his 500th career victory as a head coach.
The Monarchs played in the 2019 NCAA Tournament last season after winning the Conference USA Tournament. They dropped their opening game of the tournament against Purdue 61-48 when they got to the Big Dance.

Maryland Eastern Shore will be on Christmas break after their game with ODU. They will be back on the court on Dec. 29 against Virginia Tech in their final game of the calendar year.
