PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will host its second home game of the season on Sunday afternoon (Dec. 8) at 4 p.m. against Clarks Summit University.
The Hawks (0-10) dropped their last game 78-46 to the Baylor University Bears on Tuesday (Dec. 3). The Bears are ranked No. 18 in the country and were able to use their size and athleticism to jump out on Eastern Shore early and maintain their lead.
Sunday's game will be the first time the fans in Princess Anne have seen the Hawks since Nov. 26 against Wofford. It will also be the last time that the squad plays in the Hytche Center in the 2019 calendar year as they will not play at home again until Jan. 4 versus Howard.
Clarks Summit comes into their game with Maryland Eastern Shore with just two wins in the last season and a half. After going winless in 2018-19, they got their first win this season on Nov. 30 against Bryn Athyn. They got another win on Dec. 3 versus Penn College.
The game can be heard locally on Fox Sports 960 AM WTGM and online at EasternShoreHawks.com. Pregame coverage begins with Will DeBoer on The Shore Sports Network 15 minutes prior to game time.
After their game with Clarks Summit, the Hawks will have a nine day break between games as they will not play again until they travel to East Carolina on Dec. 17.
