PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will host the Morgan State University Bears on Monday evening (March 4) to start the final week of the regular season. Tip will be at 7:30 p.m.
The Hawks (5-24, 3-11 MEAC) won their last game on Feb. 23 versus Delaware State 62-56. Redshirt junior Isaac Taylor (Wachapreague, VA) had a career game with 18 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Canaan Bartley (Miami, FL) had 10 points in the game including the final six of the contest.
Eastern Shore and Morgan State will play on Monday for the second time this season. The Bears (9-18, 4-10 MEAC) won the first matchup 66-53 back on Jan. 5.
Junior Stanley Davis leads the Bears with 12.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Sherwyn Devonish has been one of the top freshmen in the conference as he averages 10.9 points per game, which puts him the top 20 in scoring in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Maryland Eastern Shore will close out their season on Thursday night (March 7) against Delaware State. The game will serve as senior day. Following that contest, the Hawks will head to Norfolk to play in the MEAC Tournament beginning on March 11.
