PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — University of Maryland Eastern Shore junior Brooke Roberts (Port Orange, Florida) was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Bowler of the Week for the week ending Jan. 10.
"It feels good to win again," Roberts said. "It feels like any other week of bowling, but it happened to be a good one, so I won. I'll take it and I've still got some things to work on to get better."
Roberts averaged 211.00 over five Traditional games at the Stormin' Blue & White Open in Las Vegas and she helped the team to an 8th place finish at the event.
"I think we had a good week as a team together," Roberts said. "The final results might not have shown it because we were up and down, but I feel like there were times where we found what we had on the last day of the Hawk Classic."
Eastern Shore will have the next weekend off before traveling to Deptford, New Jersey for the Northeast Classic Jan. 21-23.
