Eastern Shore Looks For First MEAC Win against NCCU

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will be looking for their first win during conference season on Monday night (January 24) as they welcome the North Carolina Central University Eagles into the Hytche Center. The game will tip at approximately 7:30 p.m. after the women's game between the two schools.

Eastern Shore (5-8, 0-2 MEAC) has dropped their last three games dating back to the 2021 calendar year. In their last two games against Norfolk State and South Carolina State, the Hawks have struggled from the field as they under 33% in both games.

Monday's opponent, NC Central (7-9, 1-0 MEAC), is coming off a 73-49 win at Delaware State in their first conference game of the season. Their matchup with DSU on January 22 was their first game in a month due to postponements.

The game will be broadcast on FloHoops with Keith Raad and former Hawks coach Frankie Allen on the call. Live stats will also be available for the game. Links for both the stream and the stats will be on the Hawks website easternshorehawks.com easternshorehawks.com  on the men's basketball schedule page.
