Hawks look to find success in Greensboro at Stallings Invite

Handful of events remain in regular season

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is coming off its first event win of the season at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference No. 2 meet, but on Friday (Feb. 25) it turns the page to the Stalling Invitational hosted by NTCA No. 6 North Carolina A&T State.

The No. 16 Hawks (55-39, 11-5 MEAC) are looking to build on their momentum as they face another strong 15-team field, but also several familiar MEAC foes — A&T, Coppin State, Howard, No. 14 Delaware State and Norfolk State.

"I am just really looking forward to continuing the strong bowling we showed last weekend," Hawks coach Roger Petrin said. "We're ready for the challenge."

The field also featured No. 2 Sam Houston State, No. 4 Vanderbilt, No. 12 Fairleigh Dickinson and No. 21 Lincoln Memorial.

Friday's schedule features five Team Baker matches beginning at 9:55 a.m.
