PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland – The Norfolk State Spartans worst enemy goes by the name of
Cameron Bratton, as the senior shut them out for the second time this season, earning him Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.
During a seven-inning double header the Cumberland, Maryland native tossed a complete game shutout, striking out six while just allowing a single walk and hit.
Bratton faced just one over the minimum in his feat - last time out he threw another CGSO with just three over the minimum during a nine-inning game. It's the second time this season Bratton and rookie catcher
Kyle Cincinnati have teamed up for such a game.
The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday for the last home game of the season, hosting the University of Maryland – Baltimore County at Henry S. Parker field.
