PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland – Ketron "KC" Shaw was named MEAC Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 18. This marks the first weekly award of the season for UMES men's basketball.

Shaw totaled 57 points with eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals over two contests. Against Old Dominion, Shaw recorded a season-high 30 points, shooting over 50% from the field and 90% from the free throw line. On the week, Shaw shot 20-for-35 from the field, 50% from three-point range and 75% from the charity stripe.Â

Through the first two weeks of play, Shaw finished third in all of NCAA Division I in points per game.

Shaw followed up his triple-double performance with an impressive triple-double, further cementing his strong start to the season.
