HOW IT HAPPENED

Playing their second game in three days against a nationally ranked opponent, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks were unable to keep pace with the Razorbacks of Arkansas. Arkansas snatched all the momentum early on with a 28-0 run and never looked back.

Arkansas was up by 45 points at the half, 60-15, while making 66% of its shot attempts.

With turnovers plaguing UMES throughout the night, the Hawks surrendered a 17-0 run early in the second half as the Razorbacks went on to cruise to the the lopsided victory.

The Hawks made a season-low 14 field goals and were held to 23% shooting from the field.

For the first time this season, no Hawk eclipsed double-digits in scoring.
