HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Hawks opened the first day of the MEAC #2 with four losses to Morgan St., UAB, Monmouth, and Delaware St.
• Despite the setbacks, UMES rebounded on Day two with a trio of wins.
• The Hawks started the day with a pair of wins over Norfolk State (1015-910) and Coppin State (976-780). After a loss to top 10 NCA&T, UMES wrapped up with a 987-847 win over Howard to finish third

• UMES returns to the road this weekend, February 23-25 when they travel to Greensboro for the Vern Stallings Invitational.
