WOMEN'S OVERALL PERFORMANCE
The UMES women excelled in the jumps on Saturday. Faithlyn Irving took her second win of the outdoor season in the women's triple jump with a 12.71m mark while teammate Jonysha Prucian was eighth (11.47m). Prucien also had a fifth place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.66m. Lyee Simms finished in second place in the high jump (1.62m). Chloe Lucas was third in the 400 meter race with a time of 56.28 while Shennell Simms was fourth in the 800 meter run (2:19.94). Mackenzi Evans picked up a sixth place result in the 400 meter hurdles (1:02.83).

MEN'S OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Jumper
Malachi Aiken continues to establish himself as one of the top triple jumpers in all of HBCU sports. Aiken won his event and set a new school outdoor record with a leap of 15.39m.
Mackel Pierrilus also earned points in the triple jump with a mark of 13.83m for a seventh place result and grabbed fourth place in the high jump (1.85m). The Hawk relay teams also grabbed points as the 4 x 400m team ofÂ
