In game one, five Hawks recorded hits against the Golden Eagles.
Clarke Calvin continued her hitting streak, ending the game with two hits to lead the Hawks.
The Maroon and Gray scored their runs with
Jaycee Holt reaching on a bunt single and advancing to second on a pitching error.
Makalah Clark drew a walk, moved to third on a wild pitch, and then stole second. Calvin grounded out to first base unassisted, and
Emily Gunther followed with an RBI single, driving in Clark and Holt, with Clark's run being unearned.
In the Hawks' second game of the day against North Dakota State,
McKenzie Abiley led off with a single to shortstop, followed by
Paige Perkins' single down the right-field line, advancing Abiley to third.
Takiah Landes then delivered an RBI single to right field, scoring Abiley and moving Perkins to second.
Jaycee Holt reached on a fielder's choice, loading the bases as Landes advanced to second and Perkins to third.
DeNae Ojeda was hit by a pitch, bringing in Perkins for an RBI.
