2016 (Freshman): Balanced his season between the batter's box, the outfield and the pitcher's mound ... made his collegiate debut as an outfielder, going 1-for-4 with a double against Fairleigh Dickinson ... hit .241 with a team high four home runs while registering a 6.60 ERA from the mound ... clubbed his first home run at VMI on March 12th ... had several mutli-hit games including a 2-for-2 day with a pair driven in and scoring twice in a win over Lehigh ... debuted as a pitcher in relief against FDU and earned his first and only career start against Navy March 9th ... picked up a win in relief versus Delaware State on April 2nd. 

High School: Football and Baseball standout at Clearfield Area ... won several honors including Mountain League Player of the Year, Progressland Player of the Year, An All-Conference First Team selection for two position, and a  2 year All-Conference honorable mention ... four year Academic Letter winner. 

Personal: Born July 16, 1997 in Frederick, Md. ... son of Nancy Summers ... exercise science major at UMES ... watches Elliott Hulse's motivational videos and calls his mother as a pregame routine ... best personal sports moment was making the varsity team as a freshman, because he gave him the confidence to take his baseball career to the next level ... mother is his biggest influence because of the foundation she provides to help him succeed ... was to become a strength and conditioning coach after graduation ... hobbies include fly fishing and weight training ... favorite book is The Perfection Point by John Brenkus ... wants to win the MEAC and become he can be, both mentally and physically, while at UMES.
