Biography
Prior to UMES:
2024-25 (UNC-Asheville): Played in 13 games for Asheville in his first active season for the program...Scored 24 points, grabbed 18 boards and handed out 10 assists...Had a season-high seven points and rebounds and three assists against St. Andrews on Dec. 7.
High School: A native of Bronx, N.Y., Thompson averaged 25.0 points per game, 8.0 assists per game and 6.0 rebounds per game as a senior and team captain on a state semifinalist team at Redemption Christian Academy that finished the season 23-10. In addition to his success on the basketball court, he also played football at Redemption Christian Academy. He is the first Division I athlete in his family.
