Personal: Wears the #14 because of her sister stating, "My family has been my biggest supporters, I want to represent their sacrifices, love, and most importantly that with hard work everything is possible”...Biology major at UMES…Her hobbies include reading, going to church, watching movies and shows and trying new food places…Aims to become an orthodontist after graduating…Favorite professional athlete is Brenda Castillo who is considered by many as the best libero in the world…Favorite volleyball memory is “Challenging one of the best county teams in high school, taking them into a five set game”...

Favorite thing about being a volleyball player is, “Being able to connect with people and create long lasting friendships and relationships, along with inspiring and sharing my passion for the sport. Along with all the emotions and feelings that volleyball creates on me, it pushes me to be better everyday and work hard in anything I do”...Enjoys playing at an HBCU because, “Playing volleyball at an HBCU to me means more than just carrying a jersey, it means carrying history, culture and passion that has been fought for. Coming from a diverse background, I've felt appreciated, welcomed and most importantly supported. I am proud to be part of a culture that is rich, rooted, and ready”... Chose UMES because, “it checked all the boxes I was looking for in a school! It is close to home, has great academics, and has a great program with a strong sense of family and support. Since I stepped on campus everyone has been really supportive, starting from my coaches to all the girls from the program. It is truly a blessing being part of all this and being able to represent UMES volleyball and its history.”
