University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Forward Bakari Copeland has been named Madness MEAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his exceptional performance during the past week's action. College Sports Madness identifies the players who have had the greatest impact to their team from each conference and on a national basis each Monday.
Copeland (Decatur, Georgia) had 29 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists in a triple overtime win against North Carolina A&T and then put up 17 points, two rebounds and an assist in a win at Delaware State.
Eastern Shore will host Morgan State on Thursday at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. It is a senior night double dip and the men's game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
