PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — Bad weather is forcing the University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team to alter its weekend schedule with Coppin State. Friday's (April 5) game has been postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday (April 6) at noon. Sunday's (April 7) game is on as scheduled.
As a result, the Little League clinic scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled.
Tickets cost $6 each day and can be purchased online or at the door. Live stats and live video are available and Drew Williams will broadcast.
The Shore will be looking to avenge a sweep by the Eagles last month at Joe Cannon Stadium. Coppin State earned double digit wins in two of the three games.
The teams stand at opposite ends of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division, with the Eagles holding down first at 7-2 and the Hawks in last at 2-7.
