PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is welcoming back one of the East Coast's best volleyball camps July 11-14 on campus in Princess Anne, Maryland. Registration is still open for both overnight and extended day campers. Hawks head coach Trevor Callarman will lead the Nike camp that is managed by U.S. Sports Camps.
"We are extremely excited to be offered the chance to hold this camp again here at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore," Callarman said. "We are looking forward to welcoming back campers and seeing new ones. We will be teaching young athletes the sport of volleyball, the way we do it here at The Shore. Our hope is to make this camp one that players put on their calendar each and every year."
The Nike Volleyball Camp is the perfect opportunity for volleyball players in the state and throughout the region to enhance their skills. Attendees will enjoy top quality instruction, gain valuable game experience, and have serious fun! Activities of the camp include individual instruction, position specific training and full scrimmages.
The camp staff will be comprised of Hawk coaches and former players who will be giving individualized attention.
The Nike Volleyball Camp in Princess Anne is for ages 10-18. The cost is just $595 for overnight campers and $495 for extended day campers who attend from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Check in is 11 a.m. on July 11 while check out for all campers is 1 p.m. on July 14. The program is designed to benefit all ability levels, from beginners to advanced. Campers are broken up into groups based on skill level. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving the camper a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp. Full scrimmages allow campers to put their skills to the test in the game situations. All campers receive a Nike Volleyball Camps T-shirt and prizes!
