Hawk freshmen continue to take strides in second tournament of the fall season

GREENSBORO, North Carolina - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore women's golf program continued its fall season with its lineup including four freshmen at this past week's Pirate Collegiate Classic.

Played at the Greenville Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina, UMES freshman Maddison Long led the Hawk scoring with a two round total of 175. Charlene Pak combined for a two-day total of 184 while Sydney Raines finished the week with a score of 186. Thalia Hoyos finished with a total of 189 to round out the UMES scoring.

UMES will conclude the fall golf season at the Holy Cross Crusader Invitational Presented By Cove Risk in Worcester, Massachussets on October 21.
