The University of Maryland Eastern Shore women's golf team finish in seventh place in this weekend's JEL Intercollegiate held at Prospect Bay Country Club

UMES SCORING

Freshmen Charlene Pak led the Hawks in the opening round with the low UMES weekend round of 79. Maddison Long shot a 82 followed by Sydney Raines' 83. Keziah Threalkill posted an 89 for a first round team total of 333. Saturday's afternoon round did not go as well for the Hawks. Threalkill came in with an 86. Long posted a 88 while Thalia Hoyos finished with an 89. Pak shot a 91 to give UMES a second round score of 354. 

Sunday's final round was paced by Long's round of 80. Pak posted an 81 followed by an 85 by Hoyos and a 90 by Raines. The final round score of 336 by the Hawks gave UMES a three round total of 1023 strokes and a seventh place finish in the nine-team field.
