Hawks finish in eleventh place at William & Mary Tribe Invitational

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore women's golf team finish in eleventh place in the 15-team field at the William & Mary Invitational earlier this week.

UMES SCORING
With a lineup comprised of four freshman and two sophomores competing for the Hawks, UMES was paced by their freshman from Pakistan in
Bushra Fatima. Fatima put together the low round of the week in the first round with an even par 72. Fatima went on to battle windy and cold conditions for scores of 84 and 83 for a tournament total count of 239. Freshman
Alysa Davis shot an 80 to open her tournament and finished with back-to-back rounds of 86 for a three round total of 252. Sophomore
Charlene Pak improved in each round with scores of 91, 84 and 81 for a combined score of 256. Freshman
Pearl Omaruaye finished with scores of 85, 87 and 85 for a total of 257.
Tinyan Liu finished the week at a total of 259 with scores of 81, 89 and 89. Playing as an individual for the Hawks, sophomore Syndey Raines shot rounds of 96, 86 and 87 for a total of 269.
As a team, UMES had rounds of 318, 341 and 335 for a three round team score of 994 for an eleventh place finish in the 15-team field.
