Princess Anne, MD - The University of Maryaland Eastern Shore Women's Tennis Team competing in their only match of the Fall semester was betterd by the Lady Eagles of Coppin State College today by a score of 7-0.

Head Coach Doug Wright's squad coming off of a big MEAC TOurnament in the 2002-2003 season couldn't seem to get going in today match. Amanda Rippen, Janelle Brown-Niles, and Sivonne Lynn were all able to take points from the Lady Eagles but dropped some very competitive games.

"We had some very positive moments today," sid Wright. "we have some work to do, but when the spring season comes around we will be ready to pick up where we left off last season winning matches in the Tournement," he added.

The Lady Hawks tennis team next plays in the MEAC Spring Round-Up in February.
