WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS MATCH TO TOWSON

PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore's women's tennis team dropped its second straight match to open up the season, falling 7-0 to Towson. The Hawks (0-2) were able to win only one game in all nine of the matches as Victoria B. Wilson fell 6-1, 6-0 to Pamela Zeger in the number one flight match.

The Hawks will look to earn their first victory of the season as the women will join the men as they travel to Baltimore, Maryland to battle Coppin State on October 22, 2004. Matches are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
