PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The UMES Lady Hawks Tennis squad squared off against the Lady Bears of Morgan State U. on the home courts in Princess Anne Maryland. Morgan State has a strong experienced team, taking the match 6-0.

The Lady Hawks saw great play from #1 player Vicky White, who battled hard in her singles and doubles matches, falling 6-4, 6-1 in her singles set. Amanda Rippen played well before falling in the singles match 6-2, 6-2 while Janelle Brown-Niles and Victoria B. Wilson were both able to take a point from their opponents. They each fell 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 respectively.

UMES will regroup and play in April as they host the Lady Hornets of Delaware State.
