PIKESVILLE, Md. - Nadia Flores Hernandez played a long four set match with Walaa Elsir at the number one singles, falling 6-7, 12-10, 6-2, 6-2. Morgan State went on to win the remaining five points and the doubles point, taking the match 7-0.
Fatoumata Ba fell at #3 singles in a solid outing 6-2, 6-1 while her sister Aissatou Ba fell at #2 singles to Viktoriya Lukyanenko 6-1, 6-0. Haaveshe Sawyer fell at #4 singles to Renae Alleyne 6-1, 6-0.
In doubles the teams of Tonaio Swangin and Bolanle Abioye played a tough match against Keisha Pindell and Kendra Lighterner, falling 8-3. Aissatou Ba and Flores Hernandez fell at #1 doubles 8-2.
The Hawks have one final match, a MEAC match against Coppin State on Friday, April 13 at noon.
