Final Stats

DOVER, Del. -- The Hawks took on one the top teams in the Northern Division, falling to Delaware State 6-0 on the road on Saturday. UMES falls to 2-9 on the season and 1-3 in MEAC play.

Arshell Jackson (Easton, Md.) fought a tough match against Marina Sicic in the fourth position, but fell 1-6, 0-6 in singles play.

UMES fell in each of the other five singles matches 0-6, 0-6 against the Hornets.

The two sides did not play doubles matches due to the threat of inclement weather in the area.

The women's team will look to regroup with a non-conference match against Towson on Monday, April 4th on the road.
