Lady Hawks Fall Twice On The Road

TOWSON, Md. & BALTIMORE - Coach Walter Woods and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Women's Tennis Team continued their nine-match road swing across the bridge with two stops at Towson and Morgan State.

In the first match, the Tigers (11-8) were flawless as they won, 7-0. UMES was unable to score a point throughout the entire match.

In the night cap, the Lady Bears (6-9, 3-1 MEAC) were also unblemished as they defeated Maryland Eastern Shore, 6-0.

On Tuesday (April 12), UMES goes down to the Hampton Roads area where they will face Norfolk State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) matchup. Match-time is set for 7 p.m.
