Freshman Sarah Adewumi lost in a third set tiebreaker in the No. 1 singles match. Sophomore Michal Kittrell won a game in each set she played in the No. 2 singles match, but that would be the last set the Hawks would win in the match.

The Hawks are back in action today (Apr. 14) against Route 13 rival Delaware State for a doubleheader in Dover.
